11:12Now PlayingInvestigators are probing the deadly shooting on Austin’s Sixth Street that left multiple people dead and 14 injured. We have learned from our partners with FOX 7 Austin that three people, including the gunman, were killed, and 14 others were wounded early Sunday outside Buford’s beer garden in the downtown area. Reports from early on Sunday included photos that appeared to show the suspect holding a firearm and wearing a gray sweatshirt bearing the words "Property of Allah." LiveNOW’s Andy Mac is speaking with Alec Nolan from FOX 7 Austin as we learn more about the motivations behind the attack.
The Department of Homeland Security identified the gunman as 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne, a naturalized U.S. citizen born in Senegal who lived in Pflugerville, a suburb north of Austin.
