Maj. Jeffrey R. O'Brien, 45, of Indianola, Iowa died on March 1, 2026, in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, during an unmanned aircraft system attack. CWO 3 Robert M. Marzan, 54, of Sacramento, California was at the scene of the incident on Mar. 1, in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, and is believed to be the individual who died at the scene. O'Brien's photo was released, while Marzan's photo was not released pending final medical examiner identification, according to the Army Reserve.
