According to experts, this could result in an even greater spike in gas prices across the United States. LiveNOW’s Mike Pache is speaking with Joseph Adinolfi, a markets reporter at MarketWatch, as investors continue to look for ways to protect their portfolios from ongoing unpredictability.
The price for a barrel of Brent crude, the international standard, was just under $91 at time of publication, according to OilPrice.com. West Texas Intermediate, the light, sweet crude oil produced in the United States, was selling for just under $86 a barrel.
