12:46Now PlayingThe prosecution rested its rebuttal case Wednesday in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, setting up closing arguments Thursday before the case goes to the jury.
The jury will also be able to consider a lesser charge of manslaughter, which Lindsay Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington called a “positive development.”
Clancy faces three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of her children.
The state's final rebuttal witness was FBI psychiatrist Dr. Gregory Saathoff, who testified he does not believe a voice drove Clancy to kill her three children. The defense's experts have testified she was in the grip of postpartum psychosis and is not criminally responsible.
