0:29Now Playing160 MPH PURSUIT • CHP Baldwin Park was pursuing a sports car, North bound 101 when CHP West Valley took it over. The vehicle was traveling at approximately 100 mph and made it completely through the San Fernando Valley within approximately 10 minutes. Passing shot was taken NB 101 @ Valley Circle. The vehicle then continued on towards Ventura County at speeds up to 160 mph. A spike was unsuccessful and it sounded like a CHP unit ran over the spikes. Additionally, the helicopter could not keep up with the pursuit and the pursuit was canceled.
