This happens to me all the time, and the people who pull this crap always say it on their way out the door so you can't give a proper rebuttal.

Sure, I can look at them. I can look at them all mother F(U(H@# day. That's free. You don't want me to look at them though, you want me to fix them - but you're afraid to say that out loud because that would actually cost money.
Few people have the balls to say upfront that they would like me to give them something that costs me $50 for free. But I have far more respect for these people than the assholes who will use sly wording to try to get crap for nothing.
