Deputy Sloup currently serves the citizens of his jurisdiction as a member of the Traffic Unit and an Assistant Sniper Team Leader/Operator on a large Regional SWAT Team. During his tenure as a law enforcement officer, Deputy Sloup has held positions in Lake Patrol/Search and Rescue as an Advanced Diver, a Firearms/Tactical Rifle Instructor, a Lead Vehicular Crimes Investigator, a Patrol Sergeant and as a Lake Patrol Sergeant. Deputy Sloup is a nationally certified Drug Recognition Expert Instructor since 2007 and is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of drug and alcohol impairment. During his tenure Deputy Sloup has presented across the country on topics of impairment and impaired driving enforcement.
Deputy Sloup is the focus of the YouTube series “Fridays With Frank” created by his agency. Fridays With Frank documents Deputy Sloup’s interactions with traffic violators in his role as a member of the Traffic Unit. Since its inception the series has gone viral internationally with hundreds of thousands of viewers each month and positive comments about law enforcement.
