Then Cruz caught them in the biggest contradiction of all. Supporting Israel's goal of eliminating Hamas while simultaneously calling for a ceasefire. And when pressed, the Ambassador admitted live on camera that defeating Hamas by military means is impossible. Cruz made sure nobody missed what that actually meant.
