23:36Now PlayingDemocrat Representative Rashida Tlaib is urging Democrats in Dearborn, Michigan, to vote against President Joe Biden in the state's upcoming Democratic primary. Tlaib posted a new video to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday saying “if you want us to be louder, then come here and vote uncommitted”. Michigan's Democratic presidential primary will be held on on Feb. 27. Tlaib is the only Palestinian American in Congress, and has been vocal about her dissatisfaction with the Biden and his administration's role in Israel's war on Gaza. She has repeatedly called for a ceasefire.
In November, Tlaib was censured on the House floor for using of the phrase “from the river to the sea” as she called for a cease-fire, an end to Israel's occupation of Gaza, and self-determination for Palestinians.
Biden won Michigan in the 2020 presidential election by 3 percentage points. The state will likely again be crucial for his potential path to victory in November.
