In June 1945, US and British forces prepared to drive to Berlin to take over their allotted occupation zones. However, they had reckoned without the objections of their Soviet ally, which did everything it could to prevent this from happening. The Cold War started even before WWII ended, and what happened over Berlin demonstrated this very clearly.
Dr. Mark Felton is a wellknown British historian, the author of 22 nonfiction books, including bestsellers 'Zero Night' and 'Castle of the Eagles', both currently being developed into movies in Hollywood. In addition to writing, Mark also appears regularly in television documentaries around the world, including on The History Channel, Netflix, National Geographic, Quest, American Heroes Channel and RMC Decouverte.
