as posted by the channel

In early 1945, a conspiracy started to grow within the highest ranks of the SS to replace Hitler as leader of Germany with SS leader Heinrich Himmler. The plot is not well known today, but involved many very senior generals dissatisfied with how the war was being run and with Hitler's increasingly incompetent leadership. The question was: would Himmler act against Hitler before Germany lost the war?

Dr. Mark Felton FRHistS, FRSA, is a wellknown British historian, the author of 22 nonfiction books, including bestsellers 'Zero Night' and 'Castle of the Eagles', both currently being developed into movies in Hollywood.
