In this extended time of social-distancing, pandemic, isolation, uncertainty, stress and disruption; we wanted to let you know how we as a museum community are dealing with the issues.
As with other museums and heritage institutions around the globe, we are closed to the public and greatly restricted in our activities. Closed doors, cancelled events and the loss of revenue we need to survive as a museum are just some of the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 crisis.
As an organization we are strong and determined to get on the other side of this and get back to what we do best: Preserving, Restoring and Displaying our military history and educating the pubic on our proud military heritage.
We hope this short video will lift your spirits and increase your morale. Everyone is currently suffering in one way or another during the crisis and we wanted to FIGHT BACK, even if just in a symbolic way."
