Trump ran on protectionism, getting rid of the national debt, and promoting universal healthcare. Yes, you heard that right. Trump wanted universal healthcare. He talked of Oprah Winfrey as his ideal running mate, and even said he’d marry his girlfriend Melania so that she could be First Lady.
