Recently we visited Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. More Cuban exiles live here than arguably anywhere in the world. But there’s also a bunch of wild chickens, and it completely caught us off guard. Wild chickens everywhere, just wandering about.
Miami isn’t the only city where you see this. A 3-hour drive away is Key West, where you also see wild chickens, for example. Tampa, St. Augustine, Houston, New Orleans, and even Los Angeles have some, but they seem to be ALL OVER Miami.
So…why? Why did the chicken cross the road in Miami?
