Last month, I reacted to a video objecting to my position that a claim is not evidence for itself - and what I felt was a misrepresentation of how 'science is done' in a pragmatic sense, because it definitely isn't merely 'trusting what someone said' over and over.
Since then, Joseph Schmid and I have scheduled a private conversation and this video is posted to clarify my position and to respond to some confusion in the comments - and, hopefully, make our conversation more productive.
