5:35Now PlayingIt's a turbulent time in the Catholic Church today. It's easy to get angry and it's easy to direct that anger at certain individuals, treating them instead of Satan as the enemy.
Three things I want to remind you (and me) of:
1. This is a spiritual battle
"For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
2. We have to pray for our enemies
"But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." - Matthew 5:44
3. Jesus is trustworthy
"You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it.
