as posted by the channelMisadventures in Corporate Media | Jeff Cohen Interview
Had fun speaking with Jeff Cohen about the 5 media filters "Manufacturing Consent" and his own misadventures in cable news.
Jeff wrote the book “Cable News Confidential” about his misadventures in Corporate Media. He worked at MSNBC, FOX, and CNN. He's the co-founder of FAIR a website dedicated to Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting. He also founded the Park Center for Independent Media at Ithaca College, where he taught for 10 years.
And he’s also been in a lot of documentaries about---you guessed it. The media! Outfoxed, Orwell Rolls in His Grave, All Governments Lie (also co-produced). And he’s in the new film Bernie Blackout premiering tomorrow (5/13) on Vice at 8pm.
