Rachel is a certified sommelier and shares her go-to list: Champagne to start. For reds she recommends: Pinot Noir, Burgundy, Beaujolais. For white wine: White Burgundy, Chardonnay, Off-Dry Riesling. For dessert: Tawny port, Sauternes. Inez then adds her own cocktail recommendations including the “Flannel Shirt,” which you can make for a large gathering and includes: Scotch, Apple Cider, Amaro Averna, fresh lemon juice, brown sugar simple syrup, all spice, and bitters. Inez also offers up a plan for all those turkey leftovers – a recipe that includes cranberries, balsamic vinegar, rosemary, thyme, honey, salt and pepper, goat cheese.
