Authors of ‘We Are Not Numbers’ Pam Bailey and Ahmed Alnaouq join Mehdi Hasan to discuss Palestinian storytelling, Gaza, and writing as a form of resistance. The book is a collection of essays, poems, and stories documenting everything from daily life in Gaza to what it’s like living in the occupied Strip. Four writers featured in the book were killed by Israel before its publication, as well as one of the project’s co-founders.
