In the conversation, Gallego dives into whether or not he can keep his momentum going despite being investigated by Trump’s Department of Justice and facing scrutiny for his relationship with Congressman Eric Swalwell.

Gallego says the Trump administration is targeting him because they’re ‘afraid’ of him, while warning that the U.S. is being led by oligarch families. They also discuss limiting billionaires’ influence in politics, the senators record on immigration and the future of the Democratic Party.
