So I asked my friend and theology professor, Robert Solberg, who is very knowledgeable about this topic, to come on and tell me about them. My curiosity is basic: what do they believe, and where does this come from?
We break down the “lost tribes” narrative, why this movement is deeply race-based, how Torah-keeping gets mixed into the gospel, and why Hebrew Israelism targets the church instead of unbelievers. We also talk about the aggression, control, and cult-like dynamics people experience.
Most importantly, we discuss how to think clearly about this movement, how it twists Scripture, and how to respond with truth, patience, and discernment, especially if someone you love is caught up in it or just starting to question it.
