54:37Now PlayingI recently had a clip sent to me from a podcast Kenneth Copeland’s granddaughter is doing with him, and I ended up taking enough notes to turn it into a video.
First, Kenneth Copeland explicitly connects Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich with the very “laws of prosperity” that he says God supposedly commissioned him to teach.
This helps make some of the spiritual gobleygook that Copeland teaches make more sense. Napoleon Hill wasn’t just some random author Copeland happened to read. Copeland actually connects Think and Grow Rich to the same “laws of prosperity” he says God called him to teach. So it gives you a pretty clear picture of how Copeland sees Hill: as part of that same stream of prosperity teaching.
Second, I was surprised to see them discuss Kenneth Copeland's disastrous Inside Edition interview. I thought they were finally going to clarify what he meant. Instead, it went in a very different direction.
These are my thoughts. Pray for the Copelands.
