0:55Now PlayingThe most loving thing you can do is informed a confused word about what scripture says!
Genesis 1:27
"So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them."
This verse emphasizes that humanity is created in the image of God, highlighting the inherent value and identity of every individual. (created by God, not invented by the creation)
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
This verse in Ephesians highlights the idea that believers are God's handiwork, created with a purpose in Christ. It speaks to the uniqueness and intentionality of each person's identity in the context of God's plan (not our own)
Identity isn’t created, it’s received. We’ve been deceived to believe that the burden of life is to create a life. Jesus came so that we would have life, and life more abundantly. Father’s provide identity. We do not have to go through the excruciatingly painful process of inventing what was already created— but needs to be received!
