"TONGUES AREN'T FOR TODAY!"

Read This: "TONGUES AREN'T FOR TODAY!" Here's another one I hear all the time: "You need an interpreter"...or how about "it was known languages at the time".

When are we going to graduate from the social media bickering and denominational or cultural preferences and into Biblical Christianity?! When are we going to step out of carnal or intellectual Christianity and into the spiritual realm? When are we going to get bold enough to unapologetically demonstrate the gifts of the Spirit?

To deny the gift is to insult the gift giver. How do you believe in a virgin birth but not tongues? Your entire salvation is predicated on believing in a resurrected Christ! What do you do with John the Baptist promising that Christ would baptize believers with the Holy Spirit and fire?!

Yes, this is only a minute long clip, but I've taught almost 50 hours on this topic, in depth, and it's simply undeniable that despite the rampant abuse of the gift of tongues --- it's still real, available, and active today! This isn't a "pentecostal" thing. This is a "doctrinally sound thing".

One of the many reasons that the New Age and various forms of Witchcraft are on the rise is because the church has devolved from an intellectual, emotional, and supernatural powerhouse to a corporate, neutered self-help program. We need preachers who divide the scriptures rightly and train gifts in wisdom! It's called a GIFT for a reason. Our Father gave it to us through His Holy Spirit!
