2:40Now PlayingIn 1964, the Joy-Tones were Margaret Moore, Vickie Burgess, and Lynn Middleton. These girls had been around since the mid-fifties, and had several records opn Rama. Alvin Stewart and Tony Middleton came up with this song, and the girls turned it into a moderate hit. Pookie loves this song, and it's still fresh and melodic today. Lynn went on to sing with the Harptones in the 80's and 90's, but sadly passed in about 93. Margaret is also gone. Vickie took over for Lynn (Sugah Greer) in the Harptones, and at that point Pookie lost track of the lone surviving member of the Joy-Tones. Enjoy!!
