2:14:32Now PlayingContrary to popular belief, emotional connection and sexual attraction are not the same thing.
A woman can enjoy a man's company, feel emotionally comfortable with him, trust him, and even develop a deep emotional bond with him without experiencing strong sexual attraction.
Sexual attraction is largely an instinctive and unchosen response. You cannot simply manufacture it by spending more time with someone, providing emotional support, building rapport, or checking every box on an emotional compatibility list.
This is where many men become confused.
When a woman says, “I need an emotional connection before I have sex,” that may be a completely legitimate personal boundary. But men should understand the difference between a requirement for acting on sexual attraction and the actual existence of sexual attraction.
An emotional connection develops organically. It isn't something you can guarantee by following a predetermined formula.
You can build an emotional bond with someone and still never create sexual desire.
In this video, we examine the difference between emotional connection, sexual attraction, sexual desire, and the common mistake men make when they assume that investing more emotionally will eventually cause a woman to become sexually attracted to them.
The question isn't simply whether she likes you.
The question is whether she actually desires you.
