1:29Now PlayingGovernor Dayton's tax proposal, which creates a 4th tax bracket of 10.95 percent for higher income Minnesotans, appears before the Senate as an amendment to a tax conformity bill. The amendment was sponsored by Deputy Senate Majority Leader Geoff Michel as a challenge to Senate DFLers to sponsor the measure. Governor Dayton told DFL members not to support the amendment, citing the process as political game playing.
