28:25Now PlayingFollowing the 2011 legislative session, Governor Mark Dayton vetoed a bill that would have required Minnesota voters to present a valid photo identification card in order to receive a ballot. Days following his veto, a group of GOP legislators called a press conference to announce that they will seek voter approval to place the requirement in Minnesota's constitution.
On this week's Capitol Report, host Julie Bartkey explores the issue further with State Representative Mary Kiffmeyer, who will sponsor the proposed constitutional amendment, and Representative Marion Greene, who opposes the photo identification requriement.
