30:27Now PlayingLawmakers from both the Senate and the House representing the People of Color and Indigenous Caucus called a press conference Wednesday, April 5, at the State Capitol. The caucus represents priorities of many minority and immigrant groups in Minnesota and seeks to raise awareness of racial inequalities within the state. The newly formed caucus announced a package of proposals called the Enhance Minnesota Legislative Package, a set of measures that would increase opportunities in education, economic development, housing, health and many other areas.
