2:47Now PlayingFollowing a lengthy floor debate, the Senate gave its final approval Thursday, March 3, to one of the measures included in the Senate Republican’s Parents’ Bill of Rights legislative package. The bill, SF 2575, would require school districts to directly notify parents of their right to review the curriculum at the beginning of each school year. Further, the policy must be published in the school’s handbook and parents’ requests to review instructional material must be honored immediately and at no charge.
