24:26Now PlayingGovernor Walz and legislative leaders have announced a framework agreement for supplemental spending as the legislature prepares for a May 23rd adjournment. According to the Governor’s press release, the agreement entails $4 billion dollars in tax relief and $4 billion dollars for education, public safety and health care. More specifically, the agreement invests $1 billion in E-12 education, $1 billion for health and human services and $450 million for public safety. Finally, the leaders have agreed on $1.4 billion for a bonding bill. Governor Walz and leaders called a press conference to talk about the budget targets.
