First, bill sponsors of a measure that would create a Prescription Drug Affordability Board, included in the omnibus commerce finance bill, were joined by Attorney General Keith Ellison and other supporters to explain the importance of the provision. Next, Senate committee chairs for Judiciary and Public Safety, Jobs, Labor and Commerce highlighted aspects of their respective omnibus finance bills. Finally, Republican leaders outlined some of their concerns with the three bills, with a particular focus on provisions in the Judiciary and Public Safety bill.
