To create and sustain a healthy housing market, the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency says the state needs 182,000 new housing units in the next ten years. Senator Bill Weber, R-Luverne, says that goal will be difficult to reach until the state reevaluates the burden soft-costs are having on new construction.
