learning to make do with restricted water supply. Andheri's Model town society prizes plastic water
bottles. They use these to save water. Homes in the society fill these bottles with water and place them
inside flush tanks. The bottles take up space in the tank and cause lesser water to be used every time
somebody uses the flush. Victims say that they have literally treating water as liquid gold.
Kids in every home have become a medium to convince their parents to conserve water. People have
initiated a step where on every notice board on our 24 buildings. Anybody passing that notice board
or standing near the lift first sees the notice board and read the message. This creates an impact on the
minds of the people. They've also done awareness campaigns for servants. It looks like these
housing societies have taken baby steps to deal with water crisis. With limited budget and resources
these societies have moved head on and managed to save around 75 lakh liters of water. Tune into the
