Question: How should a buyer do due diligence before buying a home? What legal recourse can a buyer take if the promised amenities are not provided?
Answer: To do the due diligence there are three factors:
1)Title
2)Permissions and approval
3)Execution and implementation of construction work
Check all development approvals of property. If proposed amenities stated specifically in Agreement for Sale are not provided, then the buyer can file a complaint about deficiency in service in consumer courts.
