Question: I want to buy an independent property in Delhi. I have a flexible budget with an upper limit of Rs5 crore. I’m looking at ready-to-move-in properties. Please suggest a few properties I can consider. This is purely for investment.
Answer: South Delhi plot rates are approx. Rs. 3-5 lakh/ sq.yd. The plot of 150-200 sq.yd. should be looked at GK 1 & 2, Soami Nagar, Safdarjung development area (bhd. Hauz Khas), Kailash Colony, Green Park, etc. Small sized plots are usually not available in colonies like Panchsheel Park, Neeti Bagh, etc. where sizes are mostly 500-sq.yd. and upwards. A bungalow may be possible to get micro-markets like Green Park, GK-I as well as East of Kailash will be good micro-markets, there are some availabilities in Lajpat Nagar-1, 3,4 (Amar Colony), Bhogal, etc.
