Question: Is it mandatory to obtain Occupancy certificate for an independent house (row house)? Is an occupancy certificate applicable to a Gram Panchayat approved building?
Answer: Yes indeed. You are not entitled to occupy a property if OC is not obtained nor can you get an official water connection. Gram Panchayat will have the same system. OC is applicable to Gram Panchayat approved buildings.
