Question: I’m selling my plot/semi old house measuring 19’6” X 40’ (86.66) sq. yards at Warangal City. In the second half of 2013 I received an offer of Rs27,000/sq. yard for the land. The plot is located at Raypura Colony. What appreciation and land value can I expect now?
Answer: You can expect around Rs.31000/sq. yard on the sale. Current Market rate of Raypura ranges between Rs2,400 – Rs3,000/sq. ft. and Rs7,000 – Rs35,000/sq. yard. The real estate prices went up in the district because there was more demand and cost of construction had gone up. Warangal Highway (NH-163), including the Outer Ring Road (ORR) for Warangal city, would attract more people even from far off places such as Hyderabad in the days to come.
