Question: I'm planning to buy a property in "Casa Unico" by Landmark Real Estate as a second home. Is this a good investment? Will I get good rental income if I rent it out when I don't stay here? Are there better investment options in this area?
Answer: Casa Unico in Karjat offers Studio Apartments and 1 and 2BHK flats of 425 - 1530 sqft for Rs 22 - 66 lakh. The project is under construction and is expected to be ready for possession by end 2017. As per Magicbricks, not many flats are available for rent currently. Among those available, a 2BHK can be rented for Rs 6,000 per month and a 1BHK for Rs 4,000 per month.
