The construction work on Dharavi's half-built 6-km skywalk will not resume soon giving no respite for pedestrians walking from Mahim East to Dharavi in Mumbai. The skywalk has been proposed by the Maharashtra Housing and Development Authority (MHADA) in the year 2014 to make the street pedestrian-friendly, construction has now been halted citing lack of funds.
