Question: Is it ok if the will is not probated?
Answer: Under transfer of property act in the principle cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Delhi, you are supposed to probate the will. So if you have made the will in Mumbai or you have the will regarding properties in Mumbai then by law you are supposed to get probate done.
