Question: Bought 2 grounds adjacent to each other. One registered in my wife’s name 25 years ago and before I could register the next plot the party who was selling me the plot vanished. This was 25 years ago and I paid all the charges for both the plots. What should I do? Have the parent documents for both the plots are in the name of the vendor. Wife's name plot registered document is there. No receipt for payment of 2nd plot.
Answer: You can approach the court and ask pass an order in to your favour if the vendor is not traceable. As you do not have any official documents you can try your luck with the court. Or first establish some documents to prove that you had an agreement with the seller.
