18:48Now PlayingIn the latest development of the Cauvery water dispute, Supreme Court has ordered Karnataka to release 6000 cusecs of water between from October 1 till October 6. This came as a major setback for Karnataka because it has also directed centre to set up a Cauvery Water Management Board. This board will take over the four dams of Karnataka which includes KRS, Harangi, Kabini and Hemavathi reservoir by October 4. The chairman of the board will be appointed by the Centre.
