The move came after BMC's Chief Engineer Sanjay Darade was humiliated by the MNS leaders Sandeep Deshpande and Santosh Dhuri over potholes menace. This strike was called off after 24 hours after they got the assurance from the Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis that both the MNS leaders will be arrested as soon as possible.
