The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Public Works Department (PWD) are going to miss the Chief Minister's 15-day deadline to fix potholes in Mumbai over the lack of manpower and heavy monsoon. After Cheif Minister Fadnavis assured Mumbai will be pothole free by October 13, now both the agencies have extended the deadline. However, the BMC assured Mumbaikars and eminent political parties that the city will be pothole free before Diwali.
