Question: I have a 3BHK apartment in Avadi, Chennai which I am planning to sell. I have been trying to sell this for the last one year but haven't been able to. I want to know if I should sell it or not? I got its possession in 2012.
Answer: Avadi is in Thiruvalluvar, a suburb of Chennai and is surrounded by major defense establishments. It has a well-established social infrastructure and improved connectivity of the area is attracting buyers here. Avadi has also been identified under the AMRUT scheme so a further boost in infrastructure can be expected. A ready-to-move-in 3BHK apartment here is available within Rs 29 – Rs 50 lakhs. The sizes of these are 1093 - 1698 sq. ft. A 3BHK of 1350 - 1498 sq. ft. is available for rent within Rs 11,000 – Rs 22,000 per month
