The Delhi government convened a special assembly session over the demonetisation issue on Tuesday (Nov 15) where Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal moved a resolution urging President to revoke the demonetisation scheme as it is causing huge inconvenience to people for no fault of their own.
Taking a dig at Modi government, Kejriwal said that farmers deal only in cash. With the currency ban, shops have been shut down for 4-5 days as transactions happen here only in cash.
