3:10Now PlayingTo ease traffic congestion, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) plans to undertake repair of 305 roads across the city. Out of which, 83 roads will be in the island city, 134 roads in western suburbs and 88 roads in eastern suburbs. The civic body plans to repair and widen prominent roads such as Tardev Road in South Mumbai, Rajni Patel Chowk in Worli, Siddhivinayak Chowk in Prabhadevi, and Bhandup station. The plan will also include construction of new link roads across Mumbai.
Earlier, the civic body had received flaks from the citizens for bad maintenance and poor quality of roads.
