Civic officials confirm to Magicbricks NOW that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has asked for a pilot plan from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to execute the odd and even plan in the city in the next 15 days.
Once the report has been prepared, the Chief Minister will review and take the final call on the plan. The plan is applicable on private owned vehicles, which mandates, vehicles with odd and even number plates to ply on alternate days. Emergency vehicles such as PCR vans, OB, school buses, ambulances are exempted from the scheme.
