In Karnataka, the state run Horticultural Producers of Karnataka, popularly known as HOPCOMS, has installed card swiping machines for the first time at 45 fruit and vegetable outlets in a bid for cashless transaction. Customers can now even swipe their card for a purchase made at Rs 50.
